Performance Matters Archive

The Research Centre is excited to announce the acquisition of the Performance Matters Archive, a set of 40 DVDs documenting public events from the three-year U.K. based research project.

Performance Matters (2009-12) was creative research project rethinking why performance matters through the matter of performance. The project was a collaboration between Goldsmiths, University of London, University of Roehampton and the Live Art Development Agency, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council. The Performing Arts Collection at Arts Centre Melbourne is the only repository for the Performance Matters Archive in Australia and the DVDs are available to view in our Research Centre.
